Tim Hortons reopens some branches

Tim Hortons Philippines announced it had reopened selected branches in Metro Manila and Laguna for dine-in services on June 15, 2020 following strict sanitation protocols and proper health check procedures to protect its guests and employees. The coffee chain continues its commitment to keep its customers safe while providing quality products and services by minimizing the risk of contamination to ensure that its stores remain COVID-free.

In compliance with the regulations of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), Tim Hortons requires its guests to undergo a temperature check and accomplish a health declaration form if they wish to dine-in. Also accessible via QR code to minimize contact, guests must accomplish the form at the entrance of the store to certify that they meet the necessary health requirements before they are allowed entry.

Aside from the provision of proper personal protective equipment (PPEs) and requirement to wear them at all times, all staff frontlining the stores have been tested for COVID and yielded negative results.

Enhanced front of house cleaning procedures and reduced contact guidelines are mandatory in all stores to keep customers safe and comfortable. Orders are taken and served within a 1-meter distance between staff and customers to reinforce social distancing. Payment trays are also in place for dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru transactions. Thorough and immediate sanitation is done in high contact areas such as POS Screens, dining tables and chairs, door handles, pin pads, cash drawers after every use.
With its stores remaining open for deliveries and take-out orders since the quarantine, Tim Hortons has been providing non-stop service to its customers during the pandemic. Together with its delivery partners, the coffee chain keeps its iconic treats that served as comfort food to many Filipinos, within reach.
